Hi, I am Dr. Gary Ackerman, I grew up in Lodi California and graduated Loma Linda University of Dental in 1986. I then came to Sacramento area and bought this practice. Sacramento has been my home ever since, and I love it! I have two beautiful children, Taylor is my son and Nikki is my daughter. My kids are my first priority and my best friends. In the winter we ski and snowboard in Tahoe as much as our schedules allow. In summer, we like to camp and take the boat out on the lake. As long as we are together, we are having a good time! One of my passions is being a part of the community. I am involved in the Sacramento District Dental Society, on the board of managers at CDA Presents, and a Board Member of the California Dental Association. I find networking and continuing education very rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been offered by being a part of these institutions. My philosophy in my dental office is to give the best possible care to the best possible patients. I am conservative in my approach to dental care and want the patient to be comfortable at all times.
